He was wandering aimlessly, until someone handed him something, and said, "Eer, dood!"

The Wreck family thanks everyone. (I'm so lucky to be their daughter-in-law, really. ) They had such a great time, they felt a bit *ahem..well, they made sure they had a few beers for back at their room, when they sped off...shhhhhhhhhhhhhh--y'all didn't hear it from me*......WELL, nevermind :hrhr::hrhr:

The Wrecks had a great time, thanks to all. gallery_1079_935_20899.gif

P.S. When everyone is farting under the blankets, and chasing their boos off, you can say yer prayers, and thank ME for those awesome baked beans, with all the BACON on top.

P.S. I gave a white-ass Welshman BEANS. Why do you think I'm sitting here?

Glad I made it out for a couple of hours. I had never been to any of the Metro Parks before. OMG, they're huge!

Sorry that I was a bit withdrawn, even for me. I was feeling tired and crummy, but it was good for me to get out and see some of you in a setting other than the club, all the same.

We had a great time!! We loved hanging out with everyone, and met some new people :) The food was wonderful!

Fantastic job coordinating the event OMG and Rev!

And that squirrel was hilarious! I wonder what it was thinking as it checked us all out!?!

The aftermath feast for the animals, too, was sweet! There were so many, I think I even saw a couple of lambs, and a moose! lol

Thanks for the fun time! Hope to see everyone again soon!

These are just a few. :)

With my naked eye, I saw....

Awesome pics, I even spotted myself in there. The first one is very eye catching too, the lake shot, but I will have to inform you that it's Lake St. Clair, not Lake Erie . Any more pics?

I had a lovvvvely time, other than the rain which I was able to dodge. Punky started the rain when we picked her up from work but the second we arrived at the park it stopped, awesome timing, yes? Dinner was fucking delish, I had chicken, that creamed tilapia almost made me cream my underdrawers, the pasta salad Brenda brought was delish, and the baked beans? Well, Jynxxxed, let's just say Pest wasn't too happy later that night that I ate them but I thought they were fucking amazing at the time .

Will definately be out for this again if we do it next year! Metro is so close and so many people came this year, it was a blast :peanutbutterjellytime:.

It was very nice meeting folks. I am sorry I did not get a change to meet everyone. I had to get back to my dad. It was good seeing familiar faces. My mind is terrible and with having a lot of my mind, it worst then normal. So, I am sorry I forget people names.

Oh My Goth, thank you for all of your hard work of planning this. That was very sweet of you.

Jynxx, thank you for taking time to post pictures of the event. That was kind of you. The bond between you and your husband is beyond beautiful.

I hope to see you guys/gals again.

Blessed Be/Take Care,

april

Sad and sorry that I couldn't make it. It was an EXTREMELY busy weekend filled with way too many activities. I thought I could squeeze in the picnic between the other events planned, but in the end, we just couldn't make it. Thanks to all that did the organizing. I will definitely make it to the next DGN scheduled event.

    • I am currently floored.   FedEx did a massive 6 box delivery to the wrong address.  I had an autoship order scheduled to arrive before this past weekend.  Nothing showed up.  I contacted the order site and they had a link for the order...a photo of all my boxes thrown in the snow and up the sidewalk of a residence that was not mine.   You would think that at some point, the driver would have looked at the delivery address after they kept throwing box upon box at this location with no shelter from the elements.  They didn't even knock on the door to inform the residents that massive 65+ pound boxes were left all over their walkway.  Nope.  Just dumped them, took a photo as they were walking away and left.   I wonder what the person who found all of those misdelivered boxes must have been thinking when they saw them.  Maybe they kept everything to use, distribute or sell.  No idea.  No claim was filed on that end as of yet.   Fortunately for me, one of the sites that I ordered from, replaced everything at no extra cost.   Unfortunately, now I'm concerned for the other items yet to be delivered.   Needless to say, I'll be watching my notifications like a hawk.

    • ~~~~~ Yeah, thank you for the check-in.   Happy to say it was all a misunderstanding.  But she pulled out her "ghetto" and that's when things went South.  I get very professional minded when I enter into situations like that because when someone starts bring the court into conversations, I'm in court 2 times a year, every year, so don't go there with me because I will get legal all over you.   She did try to change what she thought she might have said, but I had to call her on it because it's all in written text.  Then she apologized and we were able to have a decent conversation.   I know I joke about me talking so much that people don't hear what I say except for keywords that they are looking for, but that is exactly what happened here.  She heard "payment", "money" and "help out".  It was crazy.  I literally had to have the entire conversation all over again, but I definitely condensed it to only address those 3 words.   Things are back on track, but I emphasized that if she every needed clarification for anything, please say something first instead of jumping to conclusions, then questioning that conclusion, then answering that conclusion, then getting upset at the answer and taking it out on someone who doesn't have a clue what the San Juan Hill just happened.   But this is exactly the reason I do everything with a paper trail.
