me me me that was me that requested that! Thank you soooo much for playing it!

No problem! :yes Occasionally there's some really good request on the request sheet hidden amongst the endless, already-way-too-overplayed crap. Keep the good ones coming ;)

I was looking at the request sheet. Some interesting songs, a lot of songs that boggled my mind on it.

Alas, my attempt to get something played failed lol. Probably a lil too obscure.

I've yet to manage to get some Emilie Autumn played lol.

One of these days I will type up the request sheet and 6 months later type up another request sheet. They will look nearly identical. Hopefully the playlist won't.

What's excellent is people who confuse the band names with the song and vice versa. Like Apoptygma Berzerk doing "Hit Me Hard"... it's rather comical. (it's by Noisuf-X).

Also it's unbelievable how many people can't spell...

I'm rather familiar with the obscure stuff, but I don't bring all my CD's with me so a lot of the obscure stuff stays at home on the shelves.

Personally not a fan of Emilie Autumn and can't see her stuff working on the dancefloor... But come out to Dead-Line sometime as the other DJ's are more inclined to play that stuff

I go up to CC about 4x a year. I always request the same two songs - The Art of Suicide from Emilie Autumn and Trance Planet Vortex from Hanzel und Gretyl. Mostly, just to see if I can get either played. About 25% of the time I get to hear Trance Planet lol.

You'd have to nudge me back awake after that Emilie Autumn track. Not my cup of tea, but I know she has a huge fan base overseas...

Anyways, check out Dead-Line sometime on a Wednesday night at the Works. Nocker and Auspex (as well as Scary Guy if/when he spins) all have a great knowledge of the more gothy stuff. You could easily get them to play it.
