OK... on further viewing, I actually like the editing on the Whale video (well, most of it)... and I like the chick's overall look. It's the two guitar dudes that make it so obnoxious.

seriously....

I like hardcore and metal... hell I grew up on metal and spent the better part of my later teen years with hardcore (sick of it all, universal stomp, earth crisis, coalesce, etc)

but this... this is pure effin crap...

I definitely remember it. I used to love that song. Never saw the video. I'll have to watch it when I get home and see... XD Can't say anything until I see it, since I haven't heard that in 8 years, and I can't listen at work here. D: haha

WOW yeah that was pretty bad. Brought me back something awful too! The memories I have associated with that song are...not the best! Funny though. Ah, the stupidity of youth.....

Yes it does. As a juggalo, you can figure I agree w/you about Blender. But "We Built This City" is even more awful than its face awfulness, because it represents the absolute degrading nadir of a once world-rocking band. Listen to Surrealistic Pillow and you'll understand the true horror of anything by Starship.

Well, I lived in the '80s and the cheesy charm is utterly lost on me. Maybe 'cos I was an actual grownup. Albeit a crazy depressed heroin addict grownup...

LOL you and Lump-of-Coal are together on that one. It gets played a LOT at Lifestyle events and he goes into a huge rant every time he hears it, partly 'cos he's a huge Warren Zevon fan. I kind'a like it, even though I'm totally over Kid Redneck since I saw him in Grand Rapids and he had a huge rebel flag for a backdrop on the 2nd number. But yeah, it is crashingly unoriginal. And the things/things "rhyme" annoys me, too.

I kind of like some of Lady Gaga's songs for what they are: cheesy, bubble-gum pop. As a person, yeah, I think a lot of people confuse her attention whoring and outright weirdness with talent.

There are so many songs I could post here, but these two both make me want to break things every time I hear them.

That "Chacharron" bizarreness was especially traumatic... whatever meds dude is on should have "Warning: do not attempt any musical activity while taking this medication" on the label.

You haven't tried listening to it underwater yet...it still sounds like shit!

Why are these people allowed to perform? It does prove that you can get hot chicks to do anything for money but still...that song hurt.
