No links provided; I'm sure you can find some, and I'm too lazy. Anyway, Texas Republican US Rep. Ron Paul and Vermont's Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (not as odd a political couple as you might imagine, with both swimming in political street cred) are teaming up to pass legislation authorizing an audit of the Federal Reserve. Bernanke & co. are already squealing like stuck pigs over the prospect. Should be good! :)

there just trying to shake em up. like a chess game you apply pressure a passive threat that requires some attention enough to distract. there not really partners and they both know it it's every rat for himself when the ship sinks. but this move is more posturing not serious. it could be serious but thats the point of it not the actual investigation. plus they lose nothing by appearing to be a team, there is no risk in this that is not easily managed. you just keep preasure on them so you are free to move as you wish unopposed. polotics brother

A real audit of the entire "Federal Reserve" (It isn't really federal and there is no real reserve) system would be interesting.

The book The Creature From Jekyll Island is an amazing and eye opening account of the creation and operation of the smoke and mirrors system that is our Federal Reserve. It seems like it might be a dull subject but it is, in actually fascinating and a bit scary.
