Moved to Colorado

Recommended Posts

So some of you may know I am now in Colorado Springs, living with my wife. That's good, because for a while there I was starting to lose my mind being without her. That, and, no offense, but the midwest sucks. Mountains rule. That is all.

Now I guess I only have to drive an hour to get to Denver so I can go to The Church.

Things are going well out here. I have some pretty cool neighbors and we're in a decent part of town so that worked out well indeed. Just have to find a job and I'll be good.

Just an update. I do miss CC, though...

Yes indeed, THE MOUNTAINS RULE!! ( and the desert but ... yeah).

Good luck to you and your wonderful wife B.

I wish you nothing but happiness *hugs*

Don't worry, you don't have to be without her EVER again.... and though it must have seemed like interminable pain to be without her for that time, I am sure that has maded so much more WONDERFUL now that you never have to leave her side again.

It makes me all warm and fuzzy to know that you are so happy =)

I lived in Steamboat Springs for a year. Loved the mountains, hated the snow though and the people. Let's see ... If I could have Detroit's people, North Carolina's weather, and Colorado's mountains, that would be awesome!

Thanks guys. Yeah so far the people here seem alright. I mean it's mostly military around here from what I see, being that Fort Carson, Peterson AFB, and the Air Force Academy are all here in the Springs.

Will definitely take pics and post them once I get my wife's digital camera back from her brother Lol.

    • I will say it isn't all bad yet though.  We survived four years of the orange asshole.  We might survive another four.  All is not lost, until it is. There are those on that side that are going to do everything in their power to take and keep that power though.  Instead of the illusion of a one party system masquerading as a two party system, it really will just be a one party system.  People are talking about actively moving out of the US and renouncing their citizenship, or revolution if it comes to that. The woke and DEI scare tactics of the Russians, Chinese, and others have set in.  They have been trying to debase the USA for decades now ever since the world wars and I think  it's really starting to pick up steam.  All isn't lost yet, but it's currently 90 seconds to midnight, and that number is decreasing all the time. We just have to wait and see.  If people hit their breaking point by losing their comfort and convenience (and possibly their food/housing) then people may be held accountable for their misdeeds. Also the president is now a convicted felon so...  LOCK HIM UP!
