Michael Vick signs with Philadelphia

For those who don't know/care, Vick was convicted of running a dogfighting ring while he was the QB for the Atlanta Falcons football team. He served prison time and was released a month or two ago. The Eagles have signed him as their backup QB.

Heh..

Don't you know that these athletes can do anything they want? They're untouchable. They're worth more to some cats with money, who are running the show, as long as they are participating in sports. Therefore, they always end up back on the field, in the ring, etc.

There are so many examples of this bullshit. Look at Mike Tyson. As far as I'm concerned, he should have been banned from boxing professionally ever again, for his un-sportsmanlike behaviour on many occasions. The guy is wack, but somehow, he still keeps ending up with some guy who has a lot of money (and wants to make more) backing him up.

As for Michael Vick, he's going to be accosted and picketed by PETA members at every game, for the rest of his career.
