She is not fat by any stretch of the imagination, you'd pretty much have to be a regular on the Ana sites to think so. Yes she has the little "mommy belly"- that is a matter of loose skin, not fat. And some people find it quite attractive; as Jynxxxie pointed out it is emblematic of femininity and fruitfulness... as HH pointed out in another thread, some also see it as a badge of honor. I would guess the photographer was in that camp and not just "careless".

For the record, she doesn't really look like a plus model to me... but I guess Glamour has a different idea of "plus" than Mode or Lane Bryant.

I think that society's image of a plus size model has gone out of proportion. I don't think a size 12 should be plus size.

I think shes gorgeous and shows how a true female should appear. Not overly skinny and sickly looking. If I do not feel as if I could break her, she's just fine

I agree. She looks healthy , soft, and beautiful. Also, as stated by alot of others, if she's fat, I'm grossly obese.

Seriously...people, both on here and real life, have told me that I am the "strictest" person they've EVER met when it comes to views on what constitutes being fat (i.e. I am definately NOT comfortable with myself atm, and everyone thinks I'm "crazy" due to it, when really I say it's all preference).

This lady is not fat, I mean a bunch of stomach crunches couldn't hurt because yeah her stomach does look a bit, erm, loose and not to my liking (personally, I think females look best completely tight with NO looseness/softness and a GOOD amount of visible muscle and a definate six-pack, hence why I don't have lenient views on what is "fat"). Her legs are a bit thick for my liking also, but they, that's just me. The upper part of her body looks the best imo, the bottom part IS a little flubbish, but definately not out-of-control or anything.

But "FAT"? No. This lady has flub, needs some definate toning up imo, but is not "fat". Size 12 is plus-sized now? That's just as bad and stupid as really huge obese people that are delusioned into thinking they are thin. I can see plus size maybe like size 18....MAYBE 16 because we're talking about Hollywood, but 12 is a bit much. At my absolute anhorrexic thinnest I can fit a size 7 and I'm 5'9". I'm wondering how these 5'11" girls are fitting into size 0...fucking gross because I will even admit I started looking like the beginnings of a Skeletor Supermodel for a minute there and I could never IMAGINE being a size 0 .

when I was in 9th grade, I was a size 9.... that was back in 1999 ish. LOL size 9 (that's 135lbs for my frame) was considered plus size, in general.... I'm also 5ft4... LOL they loved my look, but didn't want plus sized girls *rolls eyes* I had a flat tummy, round bottom, perky boobs that were D sized....

I think she's beautiful. not fat. makes me feel like an elephant LOL shush to all of you who think otherwise the day I felt fat was the day I had to hold my belly up to shave my.... well, you get the idea. yes, its gross... but anyways... I'd post more, but that'd be for the weight loss thread LOL
