I danced until my legs were ready to collapse.

And there was a jewel.

I was there for a couple of hours. Did a little dancing and a lot of people watching. I was almost completely sober, which I haven't done at City in a long time. It's interesting how much you miss when you're drunk.

I talked to The Osaka Koneko, Stormknight, Beanwater, Thelordofsins, Slogo, Gimp, MsterBeau, Damaged Angel, and Fin. I saw a few others roaming about, but I think those are the only ones I got a chance to talk to.

Left early because my feet were getting tired and I had to be up early today.

Definitely an eclectic mix of people/outfits there last night.

I was there, clowned around with Gimp, Lord of Sins & Slogo. Briefly said hi to Fin and Tygerlili. Bumped into Mstrbeau on the dance floor. Danced with DJ Elektrosonik. There is probably more but my memory is swiss cheese today.

What a sweet memory, DJ Void 6 doing a sound check, and the kids saying what I have known for over a decade, "This place is SO Cool", from the mouths of the next generation of City Clubbers ! ! !

Such well behaved and helpful kids, a testament to some really great parents, thanks Kids ! ! !

Thanks to our Resident DJ's Jon Noble and Void 6 for keeping the night FUN, and us dancing till 4:30 ! ! ! You guys RAWK ! ! !

A super Special Thank You to our Guest for the evening, the incredible DJ J-9, for a wonderful set that reminded us of her 10 years as a resident here.

On a personal note, Jeannine is simply AMAZING, I missed her so much since her retirement last January.

My 1 birthday wish came true, to be able to dance and sing with my friends to the songs that we have enjoyed for so long. Thank you J-9 ! ! !

One of the most memorable moments from last Saturday night was the end of DJ J-9's set @ 2am.

As Baxendales "Music for Girls" ended the entire dancefloor ERUPTED in cheers and applause in appreciation that lasted for a few minutes, for her special set ! ! !

Those who were here know that my lame discription does not do that moment justice, I kinda wish I took some video ! ! !

I can't remember anything like that ever happening in all the years I have been going.

To paraphrase Jeannine about the spontaneous display, she said, " It was FUN and nice to feel Loved . . . . . "
