Kink in Hamtramck

looks like there's a new club opening in a couple of weeks. It seems to be called Kink; it's on Jos. Campau in Hamtramck. 9/18 is opening night, and the DJs are Lady Pain, Jessica Rabbit...and DJ Saint. Isn't he a member here? Why am I doing this and not him? As much as I can't stand those latex snobs.. I will have to go check this out.. Lady Pain is an old friend of mine & I have been wondering what she has been up to lately.

I hope their rent's really low. The idea of a fetish-only club is a good one in many respects, but I'm not sure it works as a business plan. Then again, I believe Space was only open one night a week, too. Different type of club to be sure, but they still had a pretty impressive run.

They will probably be OK as long as the guests don't start getting their cars broke into on a frequent basis... Which tends to happen down there

Yes Kink starts September 18th at Shadow Bar in Hamtramck.

Lady Pain and Jessica Rabbit are fetish performers... I'll be the only one DJ'ing the night (but might bring in some out-of-town guest DJ's eventually).

There's been full page ads in both Real Detroit and Metro Times for a few weeks now and when I get more than a fleeting moment I'll make a longer post and add it to the calendar.

Excited for the night. The club is impressive and clean. The sound system is LOUD. Lights a plenty.

LOTS of potential for this night, hope to see many of you in attendance.
