"This music is awful!" - girl in the corner

This was probably one of the most crowded and i'd say successful SC's to date. The bar was full all night and we were greeted by some of Detroit's classiest bon vivant's as well as other urban misfits. There was plenty of awkward dancing by several young Something Cold fans as well as lots of "hey play this song as I go sit on the couch and nod in agreement" haha. What is it with people and dancing nowadays? Whenever that Kas Product song I've been waiting all night to hear comes on I rush out and get my pointy feet in a shuffle. After much soundchecking we FINALLY, you heard it, FINALLY got the turntables to work for the night. Unfortunately I only brought a small stack of wax, so it wasn't as fun as it could've next. NEXT TIME! STEVIE's set was full of delightful treats, all of which will be added to this asap! He is such a talented analogue-aficionado. He is truly an idol to be reckoned with. I was acusted by a gentlemen by the name of DJ Disk who enquired if he could do a short "test set" as he is trying to get a Wednesday night gig at the THC. After my first set, and Stevies we let him take over fit a bit. Something Cold quickly turned into Something Bumpin'. Whaaaa. There were lots of awkward noddings and fun dancing to this unorthodox, despite being very amusing event.

Needless to say, it was certainly the most UNUSUAL night in the 313.
