That group shot is something to cherish... thanks Marc!

And did I neglect to mention that Jynxxxie was the loveliest matron of honor I've ever seen?

Ratsel... now I have a name to go with the ravishing lady I was admiring all afternoon, but too shy to speak to! (I will feel incredibly stupid if it turns out we talk at City every time I'm there, and I just don't remember it. Incredibly stupid, but not surprised... which is why I'm on CC hiatus for a while)

I didn't take the photo, Ross did. Thank him. I just gave him my camera... :yes

Thanks to EVERYONE for making our shin-dig such a blast! You all looked so gorgeous in your dark attire! :drool

UBER duper thanks to Rev and OMG for conducting such a sweet and wonderful ceremony. It was absolutely perfect! You two are Pillars of Awesomeness!!

Jynxxx and Stymie’s toasts were marvelous! Where else can one hear a dedication speech with the words “fart” and “dumbass,” and have it all sound so sweet? Stymie, I love you bro!!! And Jynxxx, thank you so much for your lovely words, and all of your help with everything. Getting congrats from HeadWreck was the double icing on the cake, too!

And MeanSalley with his friend Mary kick ass!! The drums were wonderful, and enjoyed by all as we hung out by the water. What a gorgeous day!!

All apologies for the dollar dance. I enjoyed dancing with everyone, but hated the idea of “paying” to dance with the bride/groom. That was one thing I did NOT want to do, but my grandmother insisted. “No, grandma, no.” “Si, meha, si!” Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. In the end, as I looked down at that beautiful soul in all of her 4 foot 5inches of glory (with most of that being her salt and pepper beehive), I just couldn’t say “No” to that wonderful woman. So thanks a bunch for helping make an old woman happy! “It’s tradition!” she said, as she’s standing in front of her granddaughter wearing a black wedding dress……..**head in hand, shaking**

I’m starting to see pics around, which is so cool! Just to let you know, I’m going to save whatever I see for our album! If you’d prefer I don’t just PM me, and I promise not to gank your pics **says with fingers crossed behind back** That group photo kicks ass! And Marc, those are GREAT pics of your girls! They’re so beautiful!

Just to warn everyone, you may see MANY pics of me smiling with my mouth wide open like a whinnying horse. No matter how dark, sinister, and creepy I get, I come from jolly stock, so every day is filled with some similar weird contorted laughing facial expression like that. Oh, Nightgaunt, how lucky you are! Lol

Thanks to everyone for coming out! We had a fabulous time sharing this moment with our DGN family. It meant the world to us that you were there, and it is something beautiful that we will always remember. We will definitely post pics as we get them from Ross.

And thanks so much to everyone for the congrats and well wishes!!

Okay peoples……so Nightgaunt and I are now married……..who’s next?!?!?!

The ceremony was lovely & appropriately mystic. The reception was excellent with fantastic food & lively conversation! And then I got to dance with the bride. That made for a perfect afternoon wedding. :)

Congratulations to you both! The world was a great place with you two in it; now it's even better!

PS--I do think that "Finn" would make a fitting boy's name. What? I'm just sayin'. :p

I can already hear the colorful tales that could be told generations from now about our little "Finny Buzz Prunkard" lol!

Regardless of the fact I didn't have a ride this wasn't going to stop me from from showing up. The time I spent there was like no other and for that I thank you.

Black Jack WALKED from 23 Mile/VanDyke to get to the wedding! And that was after taking the bus from Detroit just to get to 23/VanDyke! Holy Cow!!! :jamin I'm not sure if it counts, but can he get some early ManFast points for that? :) So glad you were there BlackJack!!!

And Rev, Oh My Goth, it was a pleasure to have finally met you. I adhere to your positive energy and outlook. You guys did a great job! The 4 of us def. need to get together soon.

As for the rest of the DGN La Famalia, I enjoyed chatting with you.

It made my black and twisted heart sing to see everyone together in one place, celebrating with us. Seriously, we consider ourselves blessed and honored to be able to count so many kind, creative, and dynamic souls as our friends.

And you looked FABULOUS! :peanutbutterjellytime:

Jynxie and Stymie went above and beyond the call of duty with all their help in pulling off this celebration and with their most excellent speeches. Thankyouthankyouthankyou! We love you both!!

Rev and OMG, what can I possibly say that hasn't been said a thousand times already? You guys rocked that ceremony inside out. The first time we talked about getting hitched, we said that it would have to be you two. No one else could have really understood our feelings and crafted a ceremony to reflect them like you. You're an awesome family and we're proud and honored that it was you who made us street legal.

My parents came into this with some trepidation; they didn't know what to expect with a gothic-themed wedding and had some strange ideas about black clothing amounting to Satanism. Afterward, they couldn't stop commenting on how wonderful, interesting, and friendly you all were. Way to represent! :unworthy:

We said from the beginning that we wanted this to not just be about Josie and I, but a time for everyone to come together and enjoy the day, to renew old friendships, and to forge new ones. We hope we accomplished that.

Thanks, everyone, again for making it out, and we'll see you at CC on 10/10...

I suppose it is not the time for Rocky and Bullwinkle, "Hey, Rocky. Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat."

...

And no, Tszura. Not those pictures...yet.

The fact we flew the Gothic Standard at a wedding was an epic win. I am still amazed how open your families were to it. It definitely made it easily the most enjoyable wedding I have been to. Period. :):X

Tszura, you were a beautiful bride!!!! You guys look so beautiful and happy!!!!

Jynxx: Thanks for post the pictures of the wedding cake and the rings. Wedding cake looks beautiful! Rings were also beautiful.

The group picture of DGN: Beautiful and Touching.

I do not use the word, "beautiful", that much when describing people and events. Yet, with you two, that word can not be used enough.

Hugs
