n0Mad
Calix got her DGN name from three types of bread: Taystee, Wonder, and Bunny. I've heard of the first two but I've never heard of Bunny Bread before. Currently, she and I are camping in North Carolina and we swung by a Walmart to pick up some more bread as we had run out. And lo and behold ... It does exist!

Onyx
*runs away screaming* Having flashbacks of my hillbilly childhood. I hated those commercials sooooo! Oh man, they still have that same nightmare-inducing bunny too. http://www.bunnybread.net/SBunny/SingingBunny.htm Edited September 29, 2009 by Onyx

GothicRavenGoddess (3)
I am so jealous of you two right now. you are right next door to my home state. Welcome to the south, y'all! and yeah, I haven't seen the bread in SC since I was too small to talk... so wow! that's a sight! Hope y'all are having a great time! (by the way, I'm the only southern person who spells "y'all" correctly. LOL... at least, that I know of LOL)
pomba gira
Never heard of it... but yeah, that bunny is pretty scary-looking! "Stays fresh longer"- wonder what chemical brew is responsible for that? Can you bring me back a loaf? Well just the bag, feed the bread to the raccoons or bears or sasquatches or whatever they have in that godforsaken wilderness! (j/k, it really looks lovely... I am just not a camping person in any form or fashion... day trip, yeah; sleeping in the dirt, no way) And Calix, you look really cute!
jynxxxedangel
I also have a request: Could y'all PLEASE bring back a tin of boiled green peanuts in the shell, if you happen to see any?! I've been craving them something TERRIBLE! They are rarely seen up here..

taysteewonderbunny
This is awesome. You two are silly, and amazingly adorable together! You think so? Want to see kawaii turn kawai (but still cute)? We's a gettin' hitched, y'all! Not immediately, but eventually. Two days after that photo was taken, Spook took me on a horseback ride and we got digging away at a garnet mine. Didn't even know that I was digging fer the stone that would be my wedding ring, but I was! Yays! (Maybe it was cuz I made cheesecake fer breakfast?) Edit to add: the only half-joking plan is that we move South and raise goats. Edited October 3, 2009 by taysteewonderbunny
GothicRavenGoddess (3)
OMG!!! YAY!!!!! Congrats!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! TygerLili
Congrats Scott and Calix! I have to say, though, that a thread that started out as a tribute to a type of bread that only exists in the south is the last thread I expected to turn into one where I ended up extending congratulations on an engagement.
