Rev.Reverence
...sounds wierd.....however, it IS apparent that Snoop here, will NOT be of any help to young alex in the grammar arenas...I'ld get his phone number, & with ID-block activated, call him.....maybe, the English, is his second language... ...certainly, I would not give out ANY of YOUR pertinent information... pomba gira
Well, a quick Google of "tutor scam" revealed that this is indeed a variant of the "check overpayment" scam. I had a feeling it was that kind of thing... "person claiming to be wealthy but with atrocious grammar/spelling wants to do long-distance business arrangement, with emphasis on PAYING YOU LOTS OF MONEY UP FRONT", raised all kinds of red flags. Not to mention "person who claims to be a native English speaker but sounds like the dub from a '70s martial arts movie". Needless to say, I will not be transacting any business with Mr. Snoop David... alas, young Alex's tutoring needs must go unmet. However, I see an excellent opportunity for some unscrupulous person: relocate to Nigeria and teach scammers proper English grammar & spelling.
