"Politically correct"

"Race" (same as Rev)

Non-words like "irregardless"

Catch phrases in general... especially:

"You go girl"

"Oh no you/he/she didn't"

"Git 'er done"

"Aw, snap"

Corporate-speak is godawful, too. The kind of nonsense that gets spouted at meetings.

Ooo...that one's my bad...but, I NEEEEEDED it for a poem in the early 90s... :p

right now its hip-hop lingo that is driving me nuts...

"there go that"

as in "oh there go that dvd"

its not going anywhere... it didnt drive away... fly... teleport...

i hear it atleast once a day at work and it drives me absolutely crazy

pretty much any bastardization of the English language, and obvious poor use of said language with no real attempt to speak properly is what drives me most mad...

reading the description of items on Etsy and seeing that they were "made with love" "LOVE" is not a material! Stop putting that in the description! >.<

:hides: Don't ever look at my entry in the "your creations" forum then.... -.-;;

I admit I am guilty of using this one. But sometimes it is appropriate. When you are making the item with a certain person in mind and crafting it to them and thinking of them while making it and hoping they will enjoy using it/wearing it, it is made with love, and you can sense it. When you are making something and you are falling more and more in love with it with every stitch and every snip, and it's just coming together like a work of magic into something more beautiful than you'd imagined...somehow I can't keep myself from using this phrase in this instance. I try to keep myself from using such cliched phrases as much as possible, but I cannot help it sometimes.. T__T
