Elderly Man Sets World Record For Most Body Piercings

<P style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">Apsely, England (AHN) -- A 78-year-old former bank manager in England nabbed the record for the most body piercings in the world.

Jon Lynch, of Apsely, Hertfordshire, claimed a spot in the Guinness World Records Book with his 241 piercings that cover his body, including 150 on his head and neck, England's Daily Telegraph reported.

In addition to the piercings, Lynch also has tattoos covering most of his body, including a portrait of Marilyn Monroe that takes up most of his torso. Because of his piercings, Lynch stopped flying years ago because his jewelry kept setting off security scanners at airports. After working at Barclays Bank for 30 years, Lynch got his first piercing, an eyebrow ring. He also started his tattooing with an eagle on his right arm. To verify his piercings record, an official from the Guinness Book of Records counted every adornment on his body. Lynch makes his debut in the 2010 edition of the Guinness World Records Book

I don't know how he can go about his life. I only have five holes in one ear, three holes in the other ear, one nostril piercing, a tongue piercing, and a labret piercing, and even those sometimes get in the way. I couldn't imagine having all of that! I guess do have to give him kudos for being able to tolerate all of those piercings.
