Pat Robertson's Christian Broadcasting Network posted a blog by Kimberly Daniels recently that warns Christians to forgo celebrating Halloween because of its evilness. Daniels specifically calls out candy as a source of soul-molestation:

"During this period demons are assigned against those who participate in the rituals and festivities. These demons are automatically drawn to the fetishes that open doors for them to come into the lives of human beings. For example, most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches."

Obviously, we shouldn't be buying Halloween candy, but what about getting it by trick-or-treating?

"Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference."

Darn.

We wholeheartedly agree with Daniels and have put together a handy guide of outrageously demonic candy to stay away from this (and every) season.

Have your own suggestion for an evil candy! Just click the "PARTICIPATE" button and upload a picture, with the name of your candy and the reason it's evil.

Ran across this article earlier. I didn't know that Halloween candy was evil. Now I'm scared that the demons might already be eating my soul after that candy corn I ate earlier.

The Robertsons are LOONS, anyway. I used to hate it when I had television, and I would fall asleep with it on-- only to wake up to those kooks on the 700 Club. Most of the stuff they talk about is so ignorant, and so completely preposterous! I think they were abducted by aliens back in the 16th century, and have just recently been returned to earth.

Perhaps people should be sending them tinfoil hats, instead of "love gifts."

The jig is up! They found out the secret to becoming a satanist is candy.

On a more serious note - it seems that every few years (or maybe every year) the crispies find a new "item" to blame so they can rant about 'falling from god's ways'.

When will they shut up!?!?!?!??!?!?!?

We should be so lucky!

From the full text:

The word "occult" means "secret." The danger of Halloween is not in the scary things we see but in the secret, wicked, cruel activities that go on behind the scenes. These activities include:

Sex with demons

Orgies between animals and humans

Animal and human sacrifices

Sacrificing babies to shed innocent blood

Rape and molestation of adults, children and babies

Revel nights

Conjuring of demons and casting of spells

Release of "time-released" curses against the innocent and the ignorant.

Where does this lady go to party???

I love Halloween...very rarely do we get to read articles this insightful throughout the rest of the year!!
