Simon Bar Sinister
my #1 wish is a Steinberger TranScale guitar, but I can't find a good pic. :( ...so here's an Alembic bass, a LSR doubleneck guitar and my all-time fave synth - the Oberheim matrix-12. Simon Bar Sinister
sorry for the double post...but I found a demo video for the TranScale. The acoustic guitar sound from the under-bridge pickup is incredible!
Scales
Right now good Dizi (chinese flute), Armenian Duduk (ancient woodwind), and Stradivari Violin VSTi's as opposed to instruments, and a good microphone for baritone vocals.

Reaper
I want to learn the guitar, and I want to eventually get back to another keyboard/workstation. The Roland XP-50 I had was a bitch to learn. Even a friend specified in keyboards couldn't quite translate the english into real english lol.
