Part Time Jobs And Baby Sitters

Recommended Posts

Okay here's the deal. Lets just say that a person can get a part time job that won't pay all the bills but will make some money to help out. But the thing is is that this person would only be making about $8.00-9.00hr. and they need to have a baby sitter. The cost of the baby sitter is somewhere like $7.00hr. Would this person working the part time job be making much of a difference in the bill paying department if they took the part time job anyway? Also gas money for transportation too and from work would need to be considered as well. What do you think?

the daycare my son went to was 3 bux an hour.. and state will help you pay if you go and apply for daycare

i have done extensive research, since i have so many children.. never hear of anyplace that cheap.. could you send me the info (I really need to work and this could be my salvation) I have literally called pretty much every daycare in the phone book and surrounding areas.. and they will not take my daughter for less than $120 a week, this was pretty much not worth it for me to work and give more than half of my check to daycare (plus gas )

That really depends on the situation. If you are extremely in debt, poor, and not being able to barely scrap by it will help. Like someone said, there are state efforts that will help you if you need to work and can't afford day care. Also don't forget family and friends, people that care about you should be always willing to help out if they see that you are trying, that you are struggling and just trying to get by. If you NEED to work because of money issues, there is ALWAYS a way. Wither or not you WANT to work is a whole separate issue. If you have been a stay at home mom, trying to go out and work after being with you kids all day hard to think about, let alone do. But if you have the chance DO IT :) It will give you friendships and reliationships out of the house and its always good to have a conversation with an ADULT sometimes LOL. Good luck. :)
