Fierce Critter
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Oscar and Tony Award winner Anne Bancroft, the husky-voiced actress immortalized as Helen Keller's teacher in "The Miracle Worker" and the seductive Mrs. Robinson in the iconic 1967 film "The Graduate," has died, her family said on Tuesday. Bancroft, who was 73, died at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York on Monday evening of uterine cancer, according to John Barlow, a spokesman for Bancroft's husband, the comedian and director Mel Brooks On a personal note, one of my favorite movies she appeared in was "To Be Or Not To Be" with husband Mel Brooks. I need to re-watch that one.

Brenda Starrr
=( This will most likely sound odd, but I didn't actually watch "The Graduate" until after Wayne and I began dating. Since Wayne is 8 years younger than I, my friends thought it would be funny to show it to me......
