City Club - New Years Eve Aftermath!

Picked up Xilla a little before 8PM and headed over to SuZQZ's party for a bit before heading down to City. Got there around 10:30. Not nearly the huge crowd there was last year but got to hang out and mingle with a significant number of friends and DGNers throughout the night. People hardly seemed to acknowledge midnight. Danced plenty. Had some strange women dance with me later in the evening. Her brain was toasted. Left around 4:30.

Morbid and I ended up there to celebrate New Years/my birthday after we couldn't come up with anything else that didn't cost way too much.

We had an okay time. Saw Nightgaunt and Tszura, Pomba Gira, Stormknight, Black Jack, Msterbeau, EnviousPoppet, Gimp, Slogo, Lord of Sins, Nienna, Darque Metallion, got to meet Lillylu. Thanks to Tszura and Pomba for the birthday drinks!

Danced a few songs, then my shoes started killing my feet, sat and talked to some DGNers and some nonDGNers. Had a drunk guy ask me if I was Angelina Jolie (not quite, lol). Left about 3, I think. Feet were killing me all the way home, I won't be wearing those boots again.

It was mediocre at best. Ran into some DGNers. I had a few drinks but was pretty tame since I was DD and I didn't want to chance it on New Years Eve. Glad I was there to celebrate TygerLili's birthday. I'm thinking next year we should do New Years Eve at some out of state club or something.

I had fun, I thought it was nice that the place wasn't outrageously crowded! I got to talk with lots of folks including Marc, Tszura (who kindly fixed my corset for me!) & Nightgaunt, Crank, Rambo, Slogo, Lord of Sins, Gimp (dude, you work too damn much), StormKnight, Nienna, the birthday girl and her charming fiance , and I got to meet LilyLu, yaay! If I forgot anyone it's because of those extreme Jack & Cokes that Marvin was mixing. So anyway it was nice to finally have a fun NYE after two crappy ones in a row... almost worth the ridiculous bar tab I ran up. Somehow I always forget I'm gonna have to buy all my own drinks in that place.

Oh and that was really drunkenly churlish of me about the $5, whichever of you two's pocket it fell out of, I'll repay it next time we meet.

workin two jobs and havin a few days off here and there sucks...but i love chasing paper what can i say? dont really have much of a choice lol but aside from that i seen so many dgners i met Morbidcide and seen tygerlilly storm, marc (got my man hug) Xilla, Slogo, Josie and Night and ever one else to many names to type lol but all and all it was a good night i couldnt get drunk on NYE so i got slammed on NY Day last night at CC and omg 5 vodka drinks and a hells gate and some whiskey drink that a freind kept feeding me.....i had to wai till like 6 to drive home...whew

In a last min decision we desided to go. Glad we did, I hads a blast!

I had such a great time I couldent even be mad really about my car being broken into. Atleast they left everything but my drink holder console and work bag ....rofl
