I don't think Republicans are against environmental legislation; just stuff like Cap and Trade, that would Kill our economy.

This maybe true... I guess I am not referring to Republicans correctly... I guess I should specify and say Bushites... or neocon Bush people... or something.... I honestly don't think that true Republican/Conservatives were represented by Bush in a realistic manner....

(Kill our economy? is it still alive?)

It's on life support; hopefully it will show signs of life this year.

Bush is in our past; complaining about him, or blaming him for Anything that's happened on or after 1/20/09 is a waste of breath, and if the Democrats don't get that crap out of their system and soon, then more of them will be out of a job come this November.

I loved how through the whole thing they were calling it "Ted Kennedy's seat" like he owned that shit or something...did he go into god-mode just for being a Kennedy? If that is how he operates its a good thing he died...otherwise everyone would just claim chairs as their own in Washington and squat there...that would suck.

See, the thing about Teddy that many people never knew... as much as he was a "Liberal Lion" and as much as he was a Democrat to the core... He was loved because he ALWAYS listened to and respected his constituants. I think it's one of the reason Brown won. Brown is the same way. He talks to people like Teddy did.. like one person to another. So it was seen as "his" seat.

BTW.. the final vote count still came down to the exact same margin within jsut a few tenths of a point.

and Phee... the EPA was Nixon's legacy. The Eviroment has always been a Republican cause. Where they differ from Democrats is that they try to do things based on actual facts and evidence rather than on what people "feel" will help. The rest of the world that is so let down by this eletion are the ones trying to pass laws based on "climate change".. and that whole bag of crap is slowly being shown to be false. Did you read the new revalation about the melting glaciers?

From everything I have read... it was a vote against Obama's Health care plan. That was the number one thing he talked about in his campaign.

The second most common theme that supporters rallied around was opposition to the Democrats in Congress who are ignoring the People they were elected to speak for.

Brown may have run as a Republican... but he was the TEA Party canidate.
