Does anybody know if the Leland has suites? If so, has anybody ever stay in one? Thanks for any help!!

Probably. But is it REALLY worth it that much? I mean, no hotel room is worth getting infected with HIV and Hep C over. I would actually sleep outside with homeless people in Cass Corridor before I slept in one of those rooms, and I'm by no means a germaphobe or clean freak.

Next question.

Yes, they have nice-sized kitchenette suites that are great for parties.

I know everyone talks about how filthy and disgusting the Leland is, but honestly, I've never got a room there that was that bad. Christ on a crutch, you're getting a suite for $75 bucks, it's not gonna be the Hyatt. Just don't look at the carpet TOO closely, or spend any time wallowing around on it, and you'll be fine.

Thank you lovlies. I know what I'm getting my self into. We've stayed there for DEMF for the past 5 years. I've just never considered upgrading for space. We are there to party in the city and just need a place to leave our shit and crash when we need to. To be honest I'm more comfortable with the skank then I would be at any of the yuppy hotel on Jefferson.

wow - harsh... i got a suite on the dgn anniversary night, and since it was a saturday, i got it for $55. really weasn't bad at all, had a little fridge & a microwave, two full size beds, a fold-out couch (pretty sure) table & charis... for $55 it's well worth it, especially when you consider how easy it is to get "home" after the club, as opposed to driving anywhere.

only thing i'd recommend is bringing PJs to sleep in. never know, ya know?

You can go through the door just past the womens bathroom. To check in early you have to go walk to the front of the building(between city club and Lucy and Ethels aka city bites) and walk up the stairs to the front desk.
