Hellion
:devil A while ago I had found out what was allowed in certain foods that are made here in the states and it was disgusting. Michigan is one of the few states that are very strict on the manufacturung and processing of food before it hits store shelves. for example; they allow a certain amount of bugs and crap in peanut butter and other processed foods in some states. Other states hot dogs are nothing but lips and assholes. I think that this is bullshit because I and other people should be allowed to know what is in our food that we eat. Its getting to the point where I am going to start hunting and growing my own food because at least I will know how to process and store it. The_Dark
Michigan is indeed one of the stricter states, but they still allow much in the food that would sicken you if you knew. The bugs, rodent parts and fecal matter don't bother me half as much as the chemical addatives.
Homicidalheathen
I heard someplace that the fda allows a certain amount of ants or whatever bug in chocolate because it is just impossible to keep all the little boogers out of the plant. Does that mean I am not a vegan now? Crunchy protien yum. :devil A while ago I had found out what was allowed in certain foods that are made here in the states and it was disgusting. Guest Game of Chance
Ever read Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser? That might even further freak you out.

lullaby1031
It's the same with ketchup and I put that on everything.. It hasn't made me sick yet so I don't care.. I refuse to eat hot dogs and I barely ever eat red meat anyway. Maybe once or twice a week but mostly chicken and turkey and if you seen the 60 minutes topic on chicken like I did, you might not even want to eat that.
