This is what I do for a living...

Please excuse the garbage quality of these pics. I bought a SUPER cheap digital camera, and am pissed at the image quality. But, I thought I would post these pics anyway, just to show what I do at my job.

I build road cases for a company called Barry Cases. What you see here is a case that I designed and built for my Line 6 FB4 footswitch. The first two pics are with the lid on. The last one is with the lid off. I have also built cases for my Line 6 Flextone II head, a brief case that also doubles as a laptop case, and a double case for my guitars. The guitar case holds both of my BC Rich guitars. I will post pics of those when I get decent ones.

Mighty good craftsmanship, and good idea too.

Thank you, everyone! It's hard work, but it is a huge sense of accomplishment. We have done cases for everyone from the Rolling Stones, Blondie, Rod Stewart, Foghat, etc all the way to Lamb of God, Moderndayzero, American Minor, Maroon5, etc. Thing is? They are all handcrafted. It is not an assembly line, per se. We use ordinary hand tools such as jigsaws, drills, etc. So, when you finish one and you sit back and look at it, or even better...see it in use...It fills you with a sense of pride.

That's awesome!  How much do those run?

The coffin is a custom design, and not in production...I'm sure if you wanted one, my boss would be interested in working something up. Judging from the prices of other cases that size NOT custom, you would be looking somewhere in the vicinity of $200. The coffin case stands almost as high as a Marshall 4x12 cabinet, and is about half as wide. It is 1/4 inch plywood, black ABS covering, aluminum edging, steel corners, handles and latches...

:devil Very original! I like your work too bad I sold my BC Rich warlock guitar because I would have bought one of yours; but if things get better at work I will want to buy one because I think they look awsome and you do good work.
