d:konstruct
So things are picking up fast with the Collective and we are being allowed to host regular monthly events at CC now. One of the ideas that we're throwing around is organizing a larp for all of you gamers out there. It would be a Minds Eye Theater Vampire the Requiem based system with a few changes here and there. We have several venues that we could host a once or twice a month larp in the metro area, maybe even a weekly thing if people were very interested. What we would need of course is a good story teller or narrator and characters of course. I wanted to do something that resembled The Kindred TV series. Shoot me some feedback if you're interested, what you would be interested in doing, what vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc, you would want to be, your experience with larping, things to watch out for, etc. I want to avoid the rock, paper, scissors thing if possible so what dice?cards? What about a larp in the CC building like the lobby, ballroom, and or the small room across from the ballroom? This could be fun! Feedback please, thank you! Once I live closer and have a way there that would be fun. I have been having a look into this and it looks interesting. I have never done it before but I found a character sheet and some info on the clans and games and stuff. I will have to get some new fangs i lost mine lol. Well anyways I hope to sometime in the future give this a try. It truly sounds fun. I wouldnt mind playing a vampire. Several of the clans interest me. Fidget(+)
Even though I would prefer dice, I think that dice might be to small and could be lost easily. Cards would most likely be the best way. Unless we can come up with some thing ingenious Not sure if your familiar with "Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines" computer game. It's an rpg. But we could take some plots from there even.

We used either the dice box (like Cheshex dice) with only the necessary dice in it (for us, two dice,) or a gumball machine toy container (the ones that little toys are placed in gumball machines) with tiny dice in it. Big enough to feel it on your person, small enough to be unobtrusive.

d:konstruct
As of right now, I will be meeting up with someone, a dear friend, who runs a larp in Ann Arbor. He has 30 people that are interested in getting involved with this new larp. It will be a Vampire the Requiem based larp with modifications for people who want to be Lupines, zombies, etc. We will be discussing this future larp at the Valentine's party this weekend at CC. I would like to run this game discrete around the club scene which makes sense considering the Kindred are supposed to keep their identity hidden from normal society. We will probably use cards or a random online generator in connection with cell phones. We have a lot of ideas on background story lines that can be used for the game as well. If we are unable to use CC for the game we have several other locations in the city. If you are seriously interested in playing, email me privately as discretion is a big deal to many, and or see me at the party this weekend. The larp will probably run either after dark throughout the week, on the weekends, or bi weekly. We will also set up a meeting in the near future for character creation. In April, the Collective will be throwing a Masquerade ball which would be a great time to kick this whole thing off. to cover costs for the game, there will be a membership fee probably something cheap like $5. If you have suggestions and or feedback, or you want to help with the setup and design of the larp, email me asap. thank you
