I think a road trip to Pittsburgh is in store - not so much for VNV, but for [sITD]
Soulrev
I was there for the Detroit show in the first part. Looks like I'll be going to the Denver show in April.
DJ Saint
I was there for the Detroit show in the first part. Looks like I'll be going to the Denver show in April. Very nice. Enjoy the Denver show. Skipped the last Detroit show as I haven't been a fan of the last 2 CD's really. S.A.M. was supposed to be the opener on the last tour but due to some circumstances that never got revealed (most likely VNV's fear the opener would trump their own performance ) they went with Ayria instead. I do like Ayria however, but have seen them so many times (they've actually borrowed my synths in the past!) IF S.A.M. had opened they'd be as huge as Combichrist right about now. SITD is an EXCELLENT choice for an opener this leg of the tour.
Simon Bar Sinister
1) any possibility of SITD coming here on their own? 2) Buffalo's a shorter drive than Pittsburgh.

Haven't heard anything (yet) of a separate SITD tour. Would be nice to see and "Rot" is a KILLER CD. Will keep everyone posted. Buffalo in March? No thanks! And quite truthfully Buffalo offers NOTHING. Just a breeding ground for serial killers
Soulrev
Actually I just noticed they will be playing right here in Colorado Springs. Yeah, War Tapes opened for the Detroit show, as well. They were pretty good.

st_masey
I can remember back when I thought they were cool. Holy shit was that last album lousy.
DJ Saint
I can remember back when I thought they were cool. Holy shit was that last album lousy. Agreed, but I don't give up on bands as quickly as I once did - case in point the last few Project Pitchfork CD's left me less than pleased. Their latest is brilliant and a fine return to form. VNV just needs a good swift hard kick to the jewels and they'll be back to the good stuff. I have no problems delivering the kick to Ronan as well
Pulse State
SITD doesn't have the appeal to me with this newest one as they once did, but with three good albums in the discography I would still go see them live (as I did back in 2008 before they put out Rot). That last VNV didn't do much for me, but again, how many good albums do they have? Plus, VNV live is always a fun time. Too bad they're not playing within a few hours of Detroit... WHAAAAaaaaa!? ROT is an amazing CD (and you know how much of a snob, critic, music fan I can be). Still partial to the "Stronghold" debut the most, but you should spend a lot more time with the new one as it really grows on you, has a lot of clever programming and explores a good amount of new teritory. "Pride" is epic and sounds great at City.
fish
Buffalo in March? No thanks! And quite truthfully Buffalo offers NOTHING. i lived there for quite some time and would have to disagree. it has always been a very goth/industrial friendly city. as far as things to do i'd say it is pretty much equal to cleveland, pittsburgh or any of the other old run down east coast cities. but i'd take any of them over the ann arbor area where i've been for the past decade.
