2/22/10 TONIGHT NECTO SLEDDING after the bar

HOLY SHIT SO MUCH SNOW!!! Lets take advantage of this clusterfuck. Everyone who is coming out tonight bring a sled as as will be hitting up veterans park close to club for some after-hours sledding. I should probably mention for insurance reasons this in NOT a necto event but a friendly suggestion for us to get together after the bar. Warm refreshment will be provided as well as VNV Nation concert tickets will be available all night.

Eep! Well...sounds lovely, but I'm fairly confident I will be wearing shorts to Necto tonight and the snow will not feel too lovely on my bare legs, I'm sure.

But perhaps my friends will be interested...

Actually my friend Kevin was in the hospital for 5 days after sledding. He hit a ramp on the hill going backwards and broke his pelvis in two places and his L1 vertebrae. I had a good time, but that kind of ruined it. I will be at necto with a get well card so hopefully some people that know us will sign it and others that went sledding will sign it as well. I already had it at City Club last night because that's where we love to hangout. I want to say thanks to Thatcher of Jackson, and Amber of Adrian. Without their help, getting him to the hospital would have been nearly impossible. I don't know if they are members on here, but you two are awesome people. BTW my friend will be okay, but will be out of commission for 3 months. :(

It sucked really bad he got hurt. It was good time before that. I had to leave very soon after I got there. A friend had a problem I had to help with.
