Any cameos/special pieces from the original for the super fans?

I'll give it a chance, usually i can't stand remakes at all, but well... some few remakes that I do think did very well on their own and compared to the origional are as follows..

Texas Chainsaw Massacre; It was because of the actors, one in particular.. good ol GySgt Hartman.. that guy just fuckin made that movie. How it was shot and directed wasn't bad either.

Halloween; At first I was like, aww shit, here goes another music dude thinking he's got some fucking talent elsewhere other than music, this is potentially fail just like all those damn rappers that think they can act... but now after seing Devil's Rejects and House of 1000 Corpses, and this remake, i'm really starting to feel that Zombie's better off sticking with what he does now and let his music stay gold. At this point, I'm thinking anything Zombie puts his hands on will become instant WIN

Friday the 13th. So it wasn't the GREATEST horror movie, since they needed personal drama amongst the victims like it was a fucking MTV reality show, but in comparisom to the older jason movies, it's potential was limited. It did good for a jason movie alone, let alone a remake.

The Dark Knight; I really don't like the trend of superhero movies that are coming out period, to name fantastic 4, spider man, ect.. but this one... just shit.. Keith did alright as the joker, and seriously.. who can fucking hate the Joker for christs sakes??

So now, even though I have my doubts about this movie coming out, i'm still eager to see it none the less! Best thing to do when seeing a remake of anything, (song, tv show, movie, ect) get the origional out of your head, remakes, like sequils, almost never are as good in comparison since you really can't ever match origional magic unless the origional was crap to begin with. This is especially true if there's a different director, actors, ect.. it's going to have it's own life, expecting it to be like the origional is stupid since if it were to meet your expectations of the original, it would be the origional (much like the digitally refurbished starwars for example)

So, when I do go see it, I'm going to look at it and give it a chance to show how it stands on it's own. After I form my opinion on it's worth by it's self.. then I'll start comparing it's quality to that of it's origional.

I do however, like the different makeup style already. It's still burn, still ugly, but just a tad more realistic to what a burnt face would look like imo. It could also pass off as some flesh eating disease look too... wich doubles as, DON'T LET HIM FUCKIN TOUCH ME OH GOD!!!

I'm looking forward to it out of curiousity, but not excitement.

I've heard bad things...I am afraid to go see this now. :no ...Is Freddy dead for real this time? Have they killed him!? Please if you have see this do tell. This is important dammit! :wallbash:

Its Michael Bay...so Ima guess he died in a huge explosion right after a plot altering slow motion scene, lmao.

Yeah I was never a big fan of Michael Bay's movies, his movies are just a bunch of hype. I mean look at The Tranformers movies, watching those just made me want to throw up. It just seems like he is more focused on creating Hollywood special effects then the actual story line of a movie or he will just recreate a movie and some how make the story of the movie even worse, I don't know how he does it... but he does. (That's just my opinion) lol

And yeah I also agree with DJ Nocker.
