Taking showers

Don't care to shower in the dark, because I have a tendency to slip in the tub and smack my shins on the edge. However, when I have a migraine and nothing else will work, I like to lay in the bathtub full of warm water in the dark. It almost always takes away most of the throbbing.

Lol I'm not the only one who does that? Yeah I bought a black cloth shower curtain just to make it darker in my shower. Nothing more soothing than taking a shower first thing in the morning in the dark with a lil bit o' Ministry playing in the background to start off the day

Alright, so I attempted this last night after work. The problem? When I shower, I listen to my mp3 player, and the speaker has a little green light on it. At first it wasn't an issue, but then as my eyes adjusted, it wasn't quite a "dark shower" anymore.

I plan to try it again the next time I take a shower at night (all our bathrooms have windows).

I also found it funny that my shower lasted the exact amount of time as the song "Age of Consent" by New Order.

I attempted again after Necto last Monday and it was a success.

It was pretty calming. I just had to mentally stop myself from thinking about spooky things while showering. With my wild imagination and fears while being alone in a dark shower...it could've easily made my shower less relaxing. :X

But it went over well.

We do here at our house if we shower when the sun is down, as our bathroom has recessed lighting and the light on that side of the shower wall burned out and we haven't replaced it. We decided we liked it better that way. There's just enough light to see which is shampoo and which is conditioner.
