Am working on doing the map right now! There is no actual "address" on their web page for those who wanted to Mapquest. I will call on this Monday, however, to see if there is such an address.

Added THREE more to the roster (Peelingchrome and two buddies) bringing our total up to:

TWENTY EIGHT PAID UP AND READY TO EMBARK! :jamin

I'm nervous over the epicness of this event. I've never thrown any event that has pulled this many people before.

I believe that Garbeldena and his lady are getting back to me this weekend and I remember kat saying she was going so it seems there will still be more to come!

I did get the map done and written out directions. For those who have been asking for a specific address for Mapquest; I'm working on it. I'm not even sure if one would be worthwhile, honestly I believe the map is your best bet, but when I call them either tomorrow or Tuesday to get some more lots I will ask. Just because...what kind of address would you Mapquest for that? 1 Some-Tree-In-A-Huge-Campground, Brighton, MI? What I will do if there is no specific address (and I doubt there is), I will ask for the camp headquarter address and people can stop in there and ask. It may be handy anyways because you must stop in to the Bishop Campground area to pick up a parking pass when you first arrive.

Expect a PM from me shortly if you are either on the "confirmed" or "visitor" list with the map and directions.

Yeah, I have the money. I am not sure if my sis is going to pull through but I can pay you whenever you want. I also only live in Hazel Park now so I am not far from you.

HOLY HELL! We just reached THIRTY member paid up and 100% confirmed! This is definitely a MANFAST record!

The first epic year, the year the seeds of manliness were planted, we had 9 die hard DGN members (us included)

The second year, including the visitors, we had around 25 (without visitors probably around 20)

The THIRD YEAR WE REACHED THE BIG THREE-O!

The fourth year? Let's aim for forty! :tongue:

TODAY is the day before the registration deadline! I still have a few stragglers I'm working with, all and all I believe we're probably going to end up with 30-35 :peanutbutterjellytime:! Of course, that doesn't include our visitor cameos, with visitors we will probably be over 40 :jamin

People who signed up late: The roster of who's going and who is on who's lot is the SECOND post in this thread. It is updated regularly and timestamped every time it is. Check it!

Also, if the same group of people have not noticed, 99% of all important relevant MANFAST info for this year is properly posted on the VERY FIRST page at the VERY top. It's the shit with a lot of text that you're most likely reluctant to read because it's boring. Go take a huge dump, bring your laptop with you, and knock that thing out if you haven't already, as I said, important stuff. If you do not have a laptop, use your printer to print it from your desktop PC. If you have no printer, go to one of your neighbor's or relative's house, use their printer or laptop, shit in their bathroom, read this stuff, then leave. The whole thing should take 15 minutes tops.

There are also NO refunds unless you have a legitimate emergency. An emergency is NOT "My family is having a thing last minute," or "I don't have transportation and did not bother to arrange any" or "I forgot to put money aside for gas" or "I got called into work" OR...ETC. An emergency is a death in the family, uncontrollable catastrophe (car LEGITIMATELY blows up, blows a tire, gets wrecked), house is on fire, family pet gets hit and killed by a car, child comes down with H1N1, etc. Just to make things clear on the refund policy.

I will be calling tomorrow to order the last batch of lots....EXCITEMENT!

All this land you see will be ENTIRELY our kingdom for one weekend! I checked to make sure that no other groups have reserved for the group area annnnnd - WE ARE THE ONLY ONES! :peanutbutterjellytime:

We have private outhouses this year so that instead of shitting on strangers' shit all weekend; we'll only be shitting on piles of each OTHER'S goth shit all weekend! It'll be just like CC! :happy:

We also have our own private water pump that isn't 800 billion miles away like the last two years...

And instead of being camped out by a swamp with shittons of mosquitoes...we're PARKED RIGHT ON THE MAIN WATER!!!!!!

I was gonna send a PM but I thought that this question may apply to others as well.

Do we need to check in like we have in years past? I'll have a yearly parking pass already and I don't know how the group site stuff works.

Also, when is the earliest we can arrive on Friday to set up?

Yes, normally people would need to check-in to get two parking permits for a total of $12. However if you have a valid Michigan State Park pass than you do not need to pay and you should not need to check-in anywhere.

Since there are no other groups going to be there this week besides us, the lady on the phone said it would be okay if we came a little early from the 3pm check in time. I personally plan on being there at noon, but ask that everyone else waits until at least 1-2pm to start showing up so that I may set up my stuff and get settled.

I also gave everyone the cellphone number that can be called to reach us. I'm hoping that the signal will stand out in the woods, we were getting okay enough on-and-off signal last year so that it was not a problem. What I think I am going to do about this dilemna, just in case, is I will PM everyone our cell # again and ask you to PM a cellphone number from someone traveling with you. This is so that if our shitty Black Berry gets bad reception out in the woods (we had a different, much better phone last year) we can call from someone's phone to check up on you if you're taking awhile.
