DGN @ City Club, Saturday, May 1st.

400 Bagley Street

Downtown Detroit

You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of the Ramada Hotel building, located at 400 Bagley Street in downtown Detroit. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry)

Come. Join us. Meet us. Hang out. We're not that scary in person, really.

Leland City Club

All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos.

Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night.

Admission is $4

18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions).

No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes.

We've had reports that the CC parking lot will not break bills larger than $10, so try to bring smaller bills with you.

(The map isn't quite exact. The Leland is located within the Bagley, 1st, Cass, Plaza Dr. block.)

In case you don't know the "DGN Corner" is to the right of the bar. Currently theres a table, pillar and long narrow wooden table, impossible to miss. Come say hello. If no one is there, stay there, they will show up.

I will be going and I believe f0rged will be at my side that night. Both celebrating the smoking ban in effect, even though I honestly can not see CC enforcing it, but hey... CC is CC with or without the smoke.

We are coming out to celebrate the smoking ban!! I do feel bad for the smokers but this is gonna be so good for me cuz I like breathing!

You still wont be able to breath "healthily" in CC, the smoke in the place will be embedded in the walls for a VERY long time! lol.

Marmee And I, along with a few friends, will be there in early celebration of my 27th... WHO'S GONNA BUY MY WEDDING-PLANNING-BROKE-ASS A DRINK?! lol...

(Or will anybody even be going out with the smoking ban in effect)

Speaking of wedding. If Tonya and I show up, we should discuss plans and such. I don't think I've given you a final answer on $$$ either, have I?

You should be more worried about the black mold than the smoke then, lol.

You guys all have made very valid points and now I feel less bad for the smokers since they can sniff the walls. Maybe they can put nicotine patches in the vending machine too, lol. I forgot about all the other nasty shit that I will be able to smell without the cigarette smoke to mask it. However, I hopefully will only have to deal with that while actually in the club and won't have fluid filled lungs for three days afterward. I'm an ex-smoker and totally sympathize with them and understand the craving but smoke really kicks my ass now a days.

Sounds plan-like.

Cigarette smoke is probably the healthiest thing everyone breathes in while at City Club.

In the summer, the scent of B.O. will be more noticeable without the smoke buffer.
