I'm glad that such indispensable, classic, albums that have inspired artists for decades are finally getting the rerelease that they deserve. I personally look forward to how rich and full the high-fidelity of all the crackling and stomping bass comes through if remastered. Surely there will be bonuses of concert and accoustic versions accompanying these discs as well!!!

Seeing as how I can sense your musical snobbery sarcasm in relation to the Grendel re-issues perhaps this re-issue information regarding Pink Industry may be more to your musical likings...

Noticing you've in the past posted about the Cure and other such goth/dark-related bands you SHOULD know who Pink Industry is. If not here's an opportunity to discover an amazing older synth band, you may like em. Certainly not stompy... more dark, ethereal, minimal and moody... think Faith/Pornography-era Cure, early 4ad stuff, etc... with a female vocalist.

Pink Industry - New Naked Technology - 2010 Remasters

Great British band (from Liverpool) created at the begining of 80s by Jayne Casey (former singer of PINK MILITARY) and Ambrose Reynolds. Tadzio was later drafted in on guitar. The band mixes new wave and experimental sounds with sexy vocals.

During their career, PINK INDUSTRY made three full albums, some 12" singles and one 7", and recorded four Peel Sessions for the BBC. They split up in 1987 with Jayne going on to work in the business side of the music industry and Ambrose working on new music project USL, whilst Tadzio simply disappeared. Now, after almost 30 years since the band's creation, here is a new compilation bringing together a wide selection of material, some of it previously unreleased, all of it completely remastered. Includes classics like "What I Wouldn't Give", "Pain of Pride", "The Corpse" and "Empty Beach" - not to be missed!

I was just being silly, but calls of snobbery are justified to an extent. I try to make fun of aggro music whenever I can just because it is just so goddamn unimaginative and bland that it's funny to me that the fad hasn't died yet.

I'll check out Pink Industry though, they sound like they have good company. "Faith" being my second-favorite Cure record. Thanks =)
