phee
With the talk of all the styles that are floating about the board and the culture these days... A great many of them are described as somethingorother-punk (IE: Steam-punk, Cyber-punk, Diesel-punk, Goth-Punk, etc...) Here is a thread were we can begin to create new *insertword"-punk terms to bring DGN to the cutting edge of subculture creation and OWNERSHIP... List your ____-punk ideas here... I will start with a few to get the ball rolling. Cow-Punk: Like cowboys and stuff... with mohawks and tats that break things... think psycho-billy but with more livestock. WhiteLines
The Ren-Punk (or Renaissance Punk) ...a punk rocker who wears a mohawk, facial piercings, and a tunic with a braided rope belt with metal spike in it. The Renaissance-punk is a student of the humanities and applies them to the stundy of old punk rock album liner notes. They may make frescos, paintings of the last supper featuring members of The Ramones, or carve a large marble statue of Johnny Rotten in the nude giving the middle finger to someone. They are also known for the phrase "Anarchy in the Holy Roman Empire".
