Ninjutsu training

Recommended Posts

Iverson private investigations is starting ninjutsu training across the street from the Leland. I went and spoke with Joel, the owner last week. It turns out that he has studied under my ninja teacher Mr. Hayes who is the guy that brought the ninja art over from Japan from Hatsumi in the late 70's. His classes run on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7-9pm. He is charging only $35 a month! That my friends is a steal in itself. I will be up there as well lending a hand in the training since we both have our black belts in the art. If you are interested in training there email me here or contact Mr. Iverson at http://www.iversonagency.net/

He will also be teaching firearms training. I've done a lot of different styles in martial arts and there are a lot of self proclaimed ninja schools all over the world. There are only three legitimate ninjutsu schools to train from and they are: Hatsumi's ( the grandmaster of the art) Bunjikan, Hayes' To Shin Do, and Tanemura's Genbukan. All three schools teach the art, history, the schools of self defense, etc. The training will be held in the Michigan building across the street from Studio 54 and the Lab. This will not be training for kids, adults only. Mr. Iverson is also a retired police officer, personal body guard, and has extensive military training. He has worked with FBI, CIA, and has even been a bodyguard for Al Gore. He's also down to earth!

Come check out ninjutsu. It's a lot of fun!

Oh god for that price I sooooo want in on this.......if only it weren't so far away and in conflict with my kung-fu classes :crybaby:

I've been curious about what the actual ninjutsu style training incorporates. I hear it's very different from most Japanese styles. If the classes were only much earlier in the day. Maybe I can find a way to swing it. Seriously anyone interested in martial arts, anyone offering this kind of training for that kind of price from a master that has those kinds of credentials shold really get into this. Would be well worth it. I'm really trying to get seriously into martial arts (I'm not really good at anything else and I'm told I have a lot of potential).

I trained last Tuesday with Joel Iverson. He has a lot to offer and knows the art. If anyone is seriously interested, let me know. Ninjutsu combines elements of many martial arts but I can explain that later.

We meet again next Tuesday night 7-9pm

Here's the latest, we train for 4 hours around 5pm-9pm. We park in a secure garage in the building which is nice. The cost is super cheap and the training is excellent. Joel has over 25 years experience with ninjutsu, Jeet Kun Do I believe I spelled it wrong, and law enforcement training. It is a small group of serious martial artists with various skill levels. My wife and I have a lot of fun and are working on our 2nd degrees in the art. We also do weapons training and Joel is looking for people for his Detective agency. I'm joining the police academy in the spring so this is very helpful for my own personal training.

If you want real quality training, check it out. Let me know if you're interested.
