I don't own any PJ's.

Yeap, this is how I know CC sold out and is no longer in tune with the scene. Goths don't wear pajamas to bed, sillies .

If I show up in my Pj's... I am going to be kicked out!

And "Dress up as a vampire?" No offense to anyone here, but kick some fake vamp teeth into almost anyone who shows up to CC and BINGO, you look like a Vamp.

Actually, I've always preferred the Proinsias Cassidy style vampire (from the comic "Preacher") which means you don't even need the teeth.

Costume/No costume, vampire whatever, city club sellouts, yadda, yadda, yadda, my babymaker hurts, WHAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaa... It's a FUNdraiser for a very cool guy (Johnny from the Lab). Show up, have some fun (whatever brand yours is) and support a good cause.

LMFAO tooo goood.

In all seriousness though, Johnny is a great guy, he helped me out alot when I first started DJing at the Lab. I wont be going to the event but if I know ANYONE who is going, I will give money to them to donate.

Well, but that's in a house with beds, not a nightclub. I'm sure if I wore feetie PJs to CC like Lain Iwakura has, the feet on them would be melted off by the time I got home. I think I got so turned off by the club night idea because it brings me back to my traumatic teenage youth of having to go through Spirit Week during high school. There was a pajama day EVERY year.

I'd go to the super-villian/superhero party ONLY if I, as I said in the other post, got to go as either Lex Luthor Stealing 40 Cakes or The Joker Getting A Kid Grounded By Stealing His Report Card. Only two evil super-villainous acts worth imitating . You can't get much more evil than harming innocent things like children and cakes.

The pajama party? Well then, I guess I would have to ask for your goth card also .

If you were DJing, it might be one of the few things that could convince me to step foot into CC again. There, happy?

No, I was asked to DJ the super hero super villan thing. since me and scary guy are friends, I took the job, even though I think theme nights in general are stupid, regardless who throws them. It will be fun to DJ with Scary again. and I support this friday in particular because of johnny.

Odd night. For starters, I was one of two and a half that wore jammies that night, so I was feeling a bit drifty and disconnected from the social plane. (thank you Mike and Aaron for letting me take refuge in the booth, that helped my state tremendously). People were requesting more than decent shit to play for the most part.

Some old employees showed up...yup, them is the same lights that were installed 17 years ago and never changed or cleaned since :p

Around 3:00, the weirdest thing happened...the atmosphere physically darkened and an overwhelming sense of calm seemed to blanket the place.

And as for the pièce de résistance of the evening...little after 3:45, City became an actual Goth club! Of course, there were only 6 people in the place at this time (seven, if you count the zombie dancer).

Oh yes, and everyone who did not attend missed seeing me with my hair down (this will never happen again...people kept calling me Jesus, for some reason or another)
