Okay

I just saw the new Video for Lady Gaga.....

A L E J A N D R O

To many thinks were running through my mind when i watched the video.

First off - i like the song.... Yes i will admit it in public.

Great dance beat - great video - smart woman on marketing herself.

Lady Gaga is not letting her 15 minutes of fame go with out a fight.....

But i will have to say the following.

I could not get > This is Halloween by Danny Elfman < song out of my mind mixed with Alejandro?

So on that note - I felt that Tim Burton Directed the video and was inspired by Janet Jackson video "Rhythm Nation"?

Yes I feel that Lady GAGA is grabbing her innovation from the Gothic / Fetish scene for the visual inspiration - watching her previous videos prior to BAD Romance - they were dull boring and nothing special.

Her new direction - i don't mind.

If she is trying to grab attention - she is doing a great a job.

Okay i gave my 2 cents.

P.S - The military S1 dress uniform is big out here in the clubs - so the next guy i see wearing this outfit i will have the Urge to call him Alejandro - knowing myself when i drink...

Because my workplace believes in torture, I have to listen to the same 15 songs piped in all day.

Alejandro is one of them.

I think her body sucks. (I have no interest in seeing a pop star with the frame of a 12-yr old boy.)

I think her music sucks.

And although I agree that she apes alternative culture and performance art, that just make me more pissed off that she gets the credit, and unlike NIN, which actually shone a light on Industrial for a minute or two, lady gagas music just rakes in cash for Lady Gaga.

As for this song, I hated it the first time when it was called Don't Turn Around

does anyone not see the madonna erocitca video in this?? and /or like a prayer ?? also to much thought of german wartime...

sorry the song is good but she likes to copy everyone else .. IMO

there is creative difference.. then there is crazy mental needs help creative difference.. she has gone that way...

also what is witht the fake penis!!!!!!!!!!

ps.. the eternal- hubby said the same thing about the the ace of base song in "alejandro" . Also her body looks like a white crack whores body.. she use to have a body and curves when "the fame cd " came out. no one on that album wants to work with her anymore..

Ok... Maybe three. But I'm just repeating myself from another thread, but I'm so SO glad I have a boy... I would be SO worried if I had a girl and she watched this crap.

When I first heard this song I was ten years old again. I even thought to call up my childhood best friend, because she would be the only one who would understand my excitement, but as the song ended I found out that Ace of Base did not have a reunion album. It was Lady Gaga. WTF....?!

I guess Bad Romance was her last good song. This video LOOKS really cool, but it's all similar imagery as to what Madonna pulled off in the 80s. But, you'll also notice that her and Madonna are practically the only two pop artists on my last.fm tag cloud :laugh:.

So...? :confused: Sooooo...wrong for girls to sleep with multiple guys at one time but it's been okay for one man to sleep with multiple girls for how long...? I'm not picking on you, just trying to understand the reason behind this. I'm always on the prowl for double-standards when it comes to gender because it's been my life's work trying to abolish those types of silly notions :laugh:.

I like the song, but I do think she sounds a lot like Ace of Base (and by extension, ABBA) in this song.

When I heard this, I thought of "Fernando," too, lol!

I'm not going to lie, there is something I like about Lady Gaga, and I think its her balls. I don't like her twiggy ass, I hate how she addresses herself in the third person, and her overall rip-off style makes me guffaw, but for some reason, I still dance to her at CC. :shock: lol Hmmmmmm, now I want to see her do a video with Jeffree Star......I think they would eat each other in the end, though lol

It will be interesting to see how Lady Gaga continues over the next few years. I feel like she's giving out the "goods" all at once, and there will be nowhere left to go with it all sooner than later. When the shock value wears off, where oh where will Lady gaga go?

Jefree Star's music is better and he's twice the woman Gaga will ever be.

OH! I wasn't saying it because of her gender! Im all up for people doing what they want to do.... But just not in a music video where teenage girls and boys think this is what happens in everyday life....

      ~~~~~ Yeah, thank you for the check-in.   Happy to say it was all a misunderstanding.  But she pulled out her "ghetto" and that's when things went South.  I get very professional minded when I enter into situations like that because when someone starts bring the court into conversations, I'm in court 2 times a year, every year, so don't go there with me because I will get legal all over you.   She did try to change what she thought she might have said, but I had to call her on it because it's all in written text.  Then she apologized and we were able to have a decent conversation.   I know I joke about me talking so much that people don't hear what I say except for keywords that they are looking for, but that is exactly what happened here.  She heard "payment", "money" and "help out".  It was crazy.  I literally had to have the entire conversation all over again, but I definitely condensed it to only address those 3 words.   Things are back on track, but I emphasized that if she every needed clarification for anything, please say something first instead of jumping to conclusions, then questioning that conclusion, then answering that conclusion, then getting upset at the answer and taking it out on someone who doesn't have a clue what the San Juan Hill just happened.   But this is exactly the reason I do everything with a paper trail.

      I'm glad  that yesterday's day at work is long gone now. There was a very strong unusual energy that I felt, and couldn't get done with the day fast enough. It wasn't  the job at all. I just felt like I really needed to keep my mouth shut, to keep me from getting in situation(s) that probably wouldn't have ended well for me.

      You can trust anyone you want.  The only question is whether or not they're deserving of that trust. No risk = no reward.  As such you have to let yourself be vulnerable sometimes and realize that all people will let you down eventually whether it's intentional or not.  The frequency that it happens is what's important.

      Sorry, I don't check this as often as I should. Anyway document everything (although it sounds like @Trene4000already has been from her post.) It's okay to cry and break down, but not in front of them.  Never give them the satisfaction of seeing you crack.  If anything I'd go out of my way to piss them off, but I don't like being that guy either (and as such I'm not very good at it, except sometimes when I'm not intending to be.) I try to only help those whom deserve it, but that's often hard to judge.  Seeing how someone treats other people is a pretty good indicator of whether or not they're worthy.  Sociopathic narcissistic asshats are very much not worthy. I hope things are going well for you guys.
