Reaper
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArcyuRDTs8Q This possible movie is in the works and it looks more real life style like the Chun Li movie is. If they come out with this, its going to be a must see for me.

This should blow the former versions of the movie away.

Destroit
Sweet!!! I didn't realize that this was going to be a movie I will probably go see it cause I love Mortal Kombat...but I'm still pissed how they did baraka he is way more badass then that movie character :( Baraka is hands down my favorite MK character of all time. Not sure how I feel about how they portray him in the movie, but he is such an odd character in the the game with a deep-yet-outlandish storyline that it would be hard to translate it all into "real life". So I'm not expecting a whole lot out of the movie version, but will probably think it's interesting either way. They keep enough the same to have it be called "Mortal Kombat" and not be completely out-there, but have put a layering of actual reality into it. They still have an underground fighting tournament, all the characters have the same name, they all have similarities to the original characters and same storyline when possible (i.e. Jax is still a cop, Johnny Cage is still fail as both a fighter and actor and dies in three seconds like always, etc). But when they had to because a part in the story was too fantasy-based, they had to change it such as with Reptile and Baraka. I've known about this coming out for a year now, but I keep trying to ignore it because it's not coming out soon enough! Baraka is hands down my favorite MK character of all time. DJ Nocker
The score used in the trailer is the score from resident evil -_- although if this isnt a big joke, it will be cool. rumors have been going around about a 3rd MK movie for years.... I know it would be hard to truly captur baraka but there is something missing and rushed about this potrayal of him. I get what they were going for but idk from the trailer something seems off. And i dont like the look of him in this either. I like what they did with reptile even though it was pretty obvious what they would do. Baraka is my favorite charter too so woohoo ^_^ more baraka love!

Destroit
Am I the only one who doesn't get the enthusiasm over this? Yeah, pretty much . No, most 20-somethings played the shit out of this growing up in the 90s (or snuck it at a friend's house if it was forbidden) so if anything I'm sure a lot of people still dig it because of early childhood memories. The last few games in the series were criticized for having poor game play, albeit a decent storyline, but the one that just came out early April that I haven't been able to try yet is apparently Tekken-smooth (but less silly). Hoping to rent it sometime soon. Yeah, pretty much . Reaper
Yeah I saw the graphics on that game and thought it would be worth buying it. Still haven't defeated the prior 2 yet before going onto another game. I need to get to work on my zombie games I have barely played!
