I feel ya. At least on some points, but others are not really relevant. The Gaga thing is A JOKE, you should be mad at the idiots dancing to it. The paint is..well its part of the whole shithole factor, which is what I mainly agree with you on. Also, WTF does them not doing anything to the lab (which was a WAY bigger shithole than CC BTW) have to do with your opinions of CC?

Because the lab was part of the whole building. It's like, yeah it was kinda shitty, but was available for the occasional events.. now not at all and they aren't doin a damn thing about it.

Also, Eevee, for Gaga being played in necto, look at the nature of necto, it's not strictly a goth club really.. so just due to the environment, it's something that I'd expect to be played there.

The only DJ who plays Gaga spins at both clubs. It does very well every time he plays it at Necto and from what I understand does just as good at CC.

Yep, because everyone is just blatantly wrong for liking Lady Gaga... get over it already. No one points a gun to anyone's head to dance to a specific song...City Club stopped being specifically a "goth" club years ago.

Everytime they play a Gaga song at City I leave the dance floor for a while. Although it pisses me off that they'll play that crud but never play songs I request...guess I just suck lol.

Probably..I have yet to hear L'ame Immortelle there yet though..If it does get played when i request it it's gotta be 4 hours later after i've left .

And it was...now that they cover charge is lifted, people don't have to bitch about it anymore and can go back to music of course. lol.

If it's one thing that has been 110% reinforced since I came on as a dj at City Club, it's that there will ALWAYS be something for everyone on this board to complain about; no matter how hard we try, how much extra time and money we put in, no matter how good our intentions are lol

Just a reminder though, cigarettes are still not allowed inside on Saturdays, despite the fact that here is no re-entry charge for smoking. Just so you know! You can bring them with you on Fridays though!

Rofl, agreed. That's why Chernobyl stopped being a "customer" years ago . I do gothic/industrial clubs and if there are none available I'd rather listen to my last.fm account on a sound system that is better than CCs
