Very Nice!!! There's some gems in here for sure. High praise and a few remarks (like they matter)

The Cure- A Short Term Effect (One of my fav Cure songs ever - sorry I missed hearing this!)

Poesie Noire - A Night Like This (horrible cover version of an otherwise great tune - why must the French fuck with everything?)

Peter Murphy- Cuts You Up!! (GAWF card revoked for playing this SHITE!)

Swans- Mona Lisa, Mother Earth (GAWF card re-instated for playing this - PROPS!)

Delerium - Incantation and Delerium - Flowers Become Screens (oldies but goodies! GREAT to hear)

Editors - Papillon (good call - this track should be constantly requested and played more often, but it isn't... yet)

New Order - Round and Round, True Faith, etc,,, (surprised these were played out of other tracks in the New Order catalog)

Xymox - Imagination (CLASSIC!!!)

800Beloved- GO (props!)

Again great playlist. Nice to have this music going on in the ballroom while more modern industrial, ebm, future pop and noise was being played in the other room. Variety :)

Ok I'll let Peter Murphy slide if it was for the out of townies ;)

on a side note - Are you planning on going to the Swans show?

October 4th, which is a century away. We'll discuss plans later.

And I also have a hysterical idea that involves Peter Murphy and Morrissey or Maybe Peter Murphy and Eldritch... will tell you later...

Now back to the playlist - a noticeable absence of The Chameleons!!! - What gives?

Fuck man, pretty good playlists. Snake Corps, 800beloved, VVV, Murder at the Registry, and god damn "ELECTRA DESCENDING"! Epic.

Hey thanks man! "Electra Descending" is probably my fav "Christian Death" track. "Veil Veil Vanish" didnt go over to well, mainly because of the room being an echo chamber and it made it sound not so great, it would have been fine otherwise.

They made coldwave, bro. That gave them the balls to do whatever they want, good or bad. hahaha.

LOL - Zing!

Looking forward to catching your set on Thursday at Resist.

I caught a brief set of yours at Dethany's Art opening at 323 East, but we've yet to meet and I've yet to hear a full sets worth of stuff.

Good list, Nocker!

And a good by the others, too (minus the HIM, She Wants Revenge, and Lacuna Coil :p )

Even though I couldn't make it out thanks for the Sleepmask track, Nocker. :wink

An industrial/EBM/noize/techno-free night from the looks of it.:happy:

Thanks, and your welcome. But stop dissing the Indutrial/EBM/Noize....because I like that stuff to, lol. How many times must I say YOU NEED IT ALL AT THE BAR!

Thanks for the good comments, everyone. I much prefer playing retro and Goth-friendly stuff... and I like Lacuna Coil and some SWR, so there :p

It was quite heartening to see people dancing to Ikon, too. That title track off "Love Hate and Sorrow" is a hammer! Nocker and Scary Guy did the business as well. A+: would do it again.

It was nice to have two rooms of very different music going on :) And the DM is always appreciated!

Ah yes! That was a fun night, me and Mike Doyle get along really well taste wise. I look forward to meeting you too! You live out in Ann Arbor, I in Belleville, we're brothers in the long commute to get anywhere!
