LadyKay
Would you eat a lion? Some people are upset about this. But I say a lion would eat you and not feel any remorse at all. http://cnn.com/video/?/video/us/2010/06/23/dnt.restaurant.lion.burgers.cnn
Epic_Fail_Guy
hm well they're raised and bred just like cattle... I don't see anything abusive against it in principal... Although it's obviously not normal in our society, but then again we do alot of things that are not normal in other societies. As long as they're not hunting wild and endangered species, I say chow down. If PETA wants to throw a fit, just give em a passifire and tell em to stfu. I for one would order this on the menu just to see what it's like at least once...
Darkmatter
African lions aren't strictly speaking endangered, but they have still undergone a dramatic reduction in range and numbers during the last century. They are more or less limited to national parks and reserves, because outside these areas they tend to be shot or poisoned as they threaten people and livestock. That being said I can't imagine what kind of cruelty it takes to farm such an animal. I am no vegetarian , I fucking hate PETA , and I strongly belive that we must eat meat if we are to survive as a species. There are many many many hungry people out there and hungry people should not have to apologize to anyone for who or what they eat. But c'mon lions? They are borderline endangered, and are way higher than us on the food chain naturally. So NO I would not ever eat a lion and i would like to find the assholes farming them and beat them to a bloody pulp , then proceed to feed them to said lions. There is a store up here by me that sells buffalo meat. I've not tried it but heard it is less greasy and less fatty then regular beef hamburgers. Shaun
Anyone know a place in the Redford area I can get my hands on some buffalo? Emu is a red meat that supposedly tastes very similar to beef and is healthier then chicken. Edited June 25, 2010 by Shaun
TygerLili
1) As a vegetarian, no, I wouldn't eat lion meat myself, but I wouldn't get upset with my friends if they wanted to. Humans are omnivores, so I say if you think it tastes good, it's not an endangered species, and you can find a humane way to kill it, then go ahead and eat it. 2) This was breaking news on CNN? Was it a slow news day or what?

The roommate loves to grill though so I might have to work something out with him .
WhiteLines
i'm so broke i would definitely eat lion meat if it was offered to me. A steak made out of a lion with some A-1 sauce sounds good right now, cuz you know a steak just isnt a steak without A-1 ...or however the commercial goes.
