you don't need equipment - if you want, let me know & i can hook you up with a decent body weight workout, or even a really cool yoga site...

^^^ This. Additionally, I've found kettlebells have done wonders for me, and Calix is enjoying and benefiting from the workouts as well. A minimal investment for the actual kettlebell but it's cheap compared to anything else. Then you can work out for free as long as you want. And there are numerous exercises that can target any muscle grouping you want.

Kettle Bells are great (I gots one), but should not be your only workout routine. It has been proven even with proper use that KB's are bad for your back for over half the workouts they are used in.

i would have to disagree with that - it's practically impossible to prove that any exercise *done with proper form* is bad for you.

that being said, there is quite a bit of a learning curve to kettlebell workouts, and it's best to have your form checked by someone who knows what they're doing. that's the great thing about bodyweight exercises - with no serious additional weight to mess up your form, it's really hard to do them improperly.

eevee, i'll try to send a pm later tonight - got to head out for work about 30 minutes ago...

Send me PM too please. Calix and I would love some body weight exercises and a yoga site to supplement our kettlebelling, walking, and bike riding. We're getting fit!

OH MY GOD! I WANT ONE! Tis the cute!!!

Truthfully tho... I wonder if thats real... If someone painted the kitty... That would be mean... Kinda looks photoshopped...

No it's a new fad. The dye is 100% natural ink that is safe for pet use. I believe it started in Asia and worked its way over here. People try to put extravagant clever designs on their pets (like this Pikachu), some just like the color. It threw me off when I let my cat out last spring. After sitting on the porch for a minute watching her roam around, another cat from the neighborhood walked up and she was PINK. I have pics and everything of her standing next to Gitzie, maybe I'll upload them. I had to ask the person though (mostly because I was concerned they were using real human dye on the cat, which is dangerous) and they told me all about how it's natural pet dye.
