Nipple piercings

Recommended Posts

Im so bummed I lost one of my nipple rings due to a very drunken fun night. By the time I tried to put one back in the hole had already closed. Yes I tried everything. I talked to my artist and I am so upset that he said I have to wait 6 months to a year before I can get it redone again. I feel lopsided with only one nipple done. :cry

I got mine done for my 18th birthday... I love them. changed them out a couple of times then just left them with rings and capture beads. I got them done one at a time and while yes it hurt I didn't cry or scream or anything. I sucked for the first few days and then they were fine. I will tell you that you need to wear a good bra when you first get them becuase when the scab rips off it hurts like a SOB. That being said I think everyone should have their titties pricked... :)

Question about the healing process: How long does it take to heal? Just a few days? Also, if you take them out for some physical activity such as a wrestling class etc, is it going to be a big pain in the ass and heal up within an hour like the lebret? or can you take it out for an hour or two and put them back in with no problem? That might be a deal breaker.

Uhh.

I'm pretty sure it takes a few MONTHS for nipple piercings to heal. My lips and ears take 6 weeks to heal enough to change the jewelry (you can do it prior, but its not advised).

Also, I've been looking into possibly getting my nipples done.

But yes, it takes much longer for them to heal, I believe.

thats what the piercer told me when i got mine done....4-6 weeks and no oral contact on said nipples until after 6 weeks do to the infections....i think its all on placement tattoo wise....ive had tattoos that hurt a whole hell of a lot more then the piercing and vice versa *shrugs*

I was lucky enough to be a girl and was able to wear a bra when mine were healing so I never took them out. I also got them pricked with a ring so they wouldn't catch as much. I think my finished healing about 6 weeks after I got them pricked. No more oozey stuff and they finaly didn't hurt when I turned them. As far as taking them out after you get them done for wrasteling I would say don't they do close up pretty quick. Just put big bandaids over them and hope like hell the bandaids don't get ripped off. :)
