I found this a very gripping film.

Maria becomes a drug "mule" - swallowing rubber pellets of cocaine/heroin (wasn't sure which) in order to smuggle the drugs into the U.S. from Columbia.

It can be an uncomfortable story to watch at times, seeing what these people get into and go through. But I found it really educating.

Recommended, but it's not a "light" movie by any stretch.

In Spanish, with English subtitles.

Extras pretty much consist of only a commentary, and the trailers.

I saw that movie when it first came out at the video store. I thought it was excellent. Intense, but excellent, nonetheless. I would recommend it.
