Thought this was one great movie! DiCaprio seems to like doing the brainstorming movies lately like this one and Shutter Island. It was a constant moving 2 and a half hours of movie.

I thought that there were a lot of interesting things going on, I just hated how they had to break it all up with all those shoot 'em up scenes every 15 minutes. (The optical illusion halllway/stairwell scene with Joseph GL being the ONLY exception.)

I liked it a lot. The shooting scenes seemed unreal, but then to me this is because in a dream, mindset is more liable to determine what happens in a survival scenario since the action isn't 'real.'

Calix and I have been debating

whether that's reality at the end of the movie or if he is still in a dream. Calix feels that when Mal committed suicide, she did escape from a dream and she is living in reality, but Cobb is still stuck in a dream believing that it's reality. Calix has enough good arguments that I think she's right, but I sill like playing Devil's Advocate and arguing the contrary.
