Chernobyl has a job interview tomorrow

Recommended Posts

HELLZ YES!

Whenever I get an interview, I get the job. Not trying to slob my own knob here or anything, but I'm a confidently sharp-dressed lady with a wink and smile to match .

Wish me luck anyways, the sooner I am employed the sooner everyone will A) See me at places such as Resist more often (but not CC, sorry ) and B) Will see me on HERE, as I've had no internet for almost a month due to my lazy fucking tenant not getting a fucking job and sinking the rest of us with him.

Oh and on a lighter note...he DID finally start working today, a long term assignment through a temp company. At least it's something. I also have two other people moved in. As it stands we are starting to turn into a fully dysfunctional South-of-9-Mile homestead with minimal drama, wouldn't want it any other way. There's six grown people living in my house total now, myself, Pestilence, Tom, Timata, our friend James is taking over the garage, and a metal-head buddy of ours from the past is a seasonal cement worker who lives in Saginaw. Since he doesn't want to have to get off work and drive two hours to go home at night only to wake up and have to drive two hours to work, he throws us a $100 a month to be able to crash on our couch and use our shower, kitchen, etc.

Wooooo! Century 21, ehh? That's pretty sweet.

And its lame the only club you'll go to now is that one I can't go to. Blarghh

It's lame that every time I walk into City Club I feel like I have to smack the shit out of 18 cheerleaders, since cheerleaders and jocks are what CC is full of now and what CC caters to. So I'll see you at the club when you're 21 . CC is now and forever dead to me, I will come on appreciation night because I feel obligated, but will question why we STILL haven't moved appreciation night to a venue that...ohhh say...ACTUALLY appreciates us?

Be patient, young one. After you turn 21 every birthday after that you feel so much older than the last. There is nothing but oldness and lower car insurance to look forward to for any following birthdays; do not rush it!

Oh, they are supposed to be calling me back early next week. I also was confirmed for going back to work at the school in the fall as I originally wasn't sure if I was going to be awarded my work-study. If I get the C-21 job then I'll just work two jobs this semester, because it would be a permanent job and the work-study job at the school will be up by next winter, better in the long run.

    • ~~~~~ Yeah, thank you for the check-in.   Happy to say it was all a misunderstanding.  But she pulled out her "ghetto" and that's when things went South.  I get very professional minded when I enter into situations like that because when someone starts bring the court into conversations, I'm in court 2 times a year, every year, so don't go there with me because I will get legal all over you.   She did try to change what she thought she might have said, but I had to call her on it because it's all in written text.  Then she apologized and we were able to have a decent conversation.   I know I joke about me talking so much that people don't hear what I say except for keywords that they are looking for, but that is exactly what happened here.  She heard "payment", "money" and "help out".  It was crazy.  I literally had to have the entire conversation all over again, but I definitely condensed it to only address those 3 words.   Things are back on track, but I emphasized that if she every needed clarification for anything, please say something first instead of jumping to conclusions, then questioning that conclusion, then answering that conclusion, then getting upset at the answer and taking it out on someone who doesn't have a clue what the San Juan Hill just happened.   But this is exactly the reason I do everything with a paper trail.

    • I'm glad  that yesterday's day at work is long gone now. There was a very strong unusual energy that I felt, and couldn't get done with the day fast enough. It wasn't  the job at all. I just felt like I really needed to keep my mouth shut, to keep me from getting in situation(s) that probably wouldn't have ended well for me.
