mmmmm....interesting, but the Bible always taught me love and forgiveness.

Is this a "lets make fun of Christianity" topic? Cause I have never found it very funny to make fun of someone's religious believes no matter who or what they may put their believes in. To each his own I say and let it be.

I think the original idea of the topic was to make fun of Atheists.

That's misconstrued! Clearly the topic was intended to make fun of anyone that believes in anything including people who don't believe in anything and those who will not either shit or get off the toilet and believe in something or nothing! You're putting words in muh mouth! :tongue:

No with so much religious/anti-religious tension in the world, why not playfully joke about it all? When there is no answer there the solution is laugher.

I added a plus to miss chers post

Thank you for your donation. I will send you a cheap little paper flag in the mail that you will probably throw away to show that I acknowledge and approve that you care. The flag will have the SP logo on it, how awesome is that? Because if it is one thing we can all believe in, it's got to be:

I am thoroughly offended by your chart, Phee. Everyone knows the Loch Ness Monster is real and still out there swimming around asking everyone it sees for $3.50. Learn your shit, yo!

Changed the thread title to be more inclusive to everything because that is where the thread seems to be going.

I agree with this one for sure.

I have a relative that claims she knows someone that was 'healed' from a major tumor through prayer but when I asked for the specifics (i.e. doctors name, or hospital than ran the tests declaring that person healed) she wouldn't or couldn't remember the details (how convenient) and only said that we should believe her story as fact/truth.

Now, if this had happened, wouldn't it only help make others a believer if you presented evidence?

I have a theory. I kinda lean towards the story of Adam and Even... I mean if you think about it... they had a bunch of kids.. then the kids started having incest like there's no tomorrow and BAM you have the human race.

I mean if you think about it.. that would explain A LOT.

LOL! Good one.

<threadjack>

Joke aside, if you read Genesis, it clearly says that God created man and woman and then, later, ran the Eden experiment. This shoots down the whole question of incest and where Cain found a wife in the story. I'm not a Bible thumper by any stretch of the imagination, but it does irk me when people smirk and try to poke fun at someone's beliefs when they obviously haven't read the material in question. Of course, a large number of Christians have not read the material in question, either. :dry:

And just for the sake of clarity, this microrant is not aimed at you, EFG. Your comment was aimed at the entirety of humanity and was hilarious. :rofl:
