We could use your help - promoters and other

A group of artist friends and I have two footballs fields of space to fill for our Artprize entry.

Artprize is a huge art event, held annually, and perhaps the biggest open art competition in the nation with over 200,000 visitors last year.

Our entry is going to be a sort of circus/freakshow/sideshow/fashion event, held atop and in the middle of a huge work of art that will serve as a stage amidst a huge cabinet of curiosities.

The theme is going to be very turn of the century - neovictorian gothic, edwardian, miskatonic, and steampunk - and we are hoping to, for at least one day of the event turn our event into a big meeting place for like-minded individuals - like a convention or faire without admission costs.

The event runs September 22nd through October 10th, we have until a week before that time to gather funds and materials, and to put it all together.

We could use help - anything from just mentioning the prospect in passing, linking to us through blogs and posts, getting the word out - to bigger things like connecting us with a good venue for a fund-raising party and art show, contributing spare parts and buckets of paint (there is a list of needs on our site), to flyering, to actually physically lending a hand with the event... or even being entertainers present in the "buskers alley" section of the show (tip buckets are not only allowed, but encouraged).

If you think you might want to lend a hand, please visit CirqueACirca.com/Artprize to be sure, and contact us through the site, or here. Any amount of help raising awareness or otherwise would be greatly appreciated.

Oh ThankYouThankYouThankYou :)

It is: http://www.facebook.com/cirqueacirca

Done. Off the page, though, do one of those Event pages, where people can actually send "Invitations", and I think you'll get more hits, and more people will remember during the dates to go. :)
