Last year, I went to Theatre Bizarre for the first time, and all I have to say is, wow. I really loved the artistry and the general hard work that they put into every little detail. I know it's kinda expensive for a lot of people on here, but it is definitely to me, the best event of the year. Next weekend (Sept 11th) at "Dally in the Alley" they are selling very discounted tickets for $55 (this includes admission and all the micro-brew beer you can drink all night). If you don't get tickets, after that event the tickets will probably be $65 a piece. The face value for the ticket is going to be $100, but don't wait to buy them, they WILL BE SOLD OUT.

It's a costumed event, and the costumes there are amazing!!! People take a lot of time and effort to pick out their outfits, most are made.

If you go to no other event, save up for this one.

I agree. This is literally one of the "required" events of the fall season for me. I mean, come on: it's got live bands, haunted houses, fire breathers, flesh pulls/suspensions, burlesque girls, vendors selling really, really unique jewelery and clothing, and you're guaranteed to meet people from all over the country and other parts of the world who make the time to come to Detroit once a year just for this!

I got mine :) Hearing rumors that it is already sold out! And already seeing people selling them for wayyyy more than the stores were on craigslist.

I know, someone told me that someone on Craigslist had them up for like $500 .. like WTF?!?!?!

Ah, how I have sinned, I have not gotten tickets and now begin the grueling task of searching out these rare specimens...

There's probably someone still trying to gouge people, sometimes people scalp them at the door, *shrugs* good luck. :)

Yup. We specialize in clothing for bands and entertainers, or anyone who wants to look like a rockstar ;) Lip Service, Shrine, Dog Pile, Demonia, Living Dead Souls, Leg Avenue, we've got it all! And, we're open 7 days a week :)

Awesome, I will check it out online. I have a hard time finding vinyl, pleather, and nylon pants anymore that aren't for some beanpole. See if they can help. lol

When do you have to spend the $20 by? And if you win the chance to buy them, how much are the tickets? Is that how it works? Or do you just...win the tickets? O.O

Every $20 you spend gets you a ticket entered into the raffle. If a ticket with your name is drawn, you win a pair of tickets. No cost, nothing weird. Just our way of saying thanks for being our customer :)

I'm actually not sure when the drawing goes until. You might want to call the owner, Dan, and ask (313)-875-9280
