Quick post about the new show tonight on ABC at 10pm.

I don't watch alot of TV ... and sometimes get jealous at work when I hear people talking about some show from the night previous and everyone knows WTF they are talking about but me... maybe I will follow this one... I followed Grey's Anatomy for awhile... felt included.

for what it's worth, i watch about 15 minutes and switched over to Ghost Adventures, which is about the dumbest show i've ever seen. they lost me with the 'better to stop them here than in Ferndale' part.

i'll stick with SVU.

Watched online the night after. Was not impressed, acting was horrible, jokes were terrible. It's nice to know they're trying though, so I shouldn't bitch.

Yeah, most of the pilot was shot in Atlanta and they just wanted to do some establishing shots in Detroit but the Michigan Film Board bitched them out and wouldn't give them any tax credits unless they reshot several scenes in Detroit and continued to film most of it here. The production team decided that giving up some creative control was worth the money they'd save from tax breaks so they conceded to that and a few other concessions.

At first I did not like it, but I like it now. There are certain spots that are from Detroit. In my opinion, it good to help Detroit. Detroit needs all the helps it can get. Sadly, there are many bad or negleted areas of Detroit. If an person is not familar witih Detroit and only familar with sterotypes of Detroits, those bad or negleted areas might not be best choice to film. I am not expert at these things. Again, it just my humble view.
