attn noise-y bands: Signifier label accepting demos

Posting this for a friend of mine. Signifier is her new record label, and she is accepting demos for bands in the noisier genres.

signifier Demo Submission Policy

signifier seeks demo materials from established talent and fresh faces in the genres of rhythmic noise, technoid, power noise, and post industrial.

If you are an artist seeking a label home and you are working on material for a full length release, signifier is interested in hearing from you.

Copy 3 of your best/most representative tracks to CD and make sure to include the following on the disc in permanent marker:

Artist name

Contact name

Contact email address

Date of submission

Along with your CD, please provide a note including:

Brief “press release”. Be sure to describe your style, background, discography, and release goals.

Names, roles, and contact information for all members.

Website addresses (include social media like Facebook, Myspace, etc).

How did you hear about us?

By sending your demo submission in for consideration, you acknowledge that with the exception of compilations, signifier plans to distribute all full length releases by both CD and digital download .
